Niche Observations:
In the higher end range, there are much more varieties and selections available to consumers. However, In the target priced range,the opposite is true. There are less choices.  Although diversified in trendy product aesthetics, variety in other directions is scarce. Functionally, models are very similar to each other, as are the price points. As a result, the only trend that seems to drive the market is aesthetics.  There is more room to develop something new in other areas, such as “User Friendliness”, “Multi-Functionality”, or “Graphic Exploration”, in order to create our own niche and stand out in the marketplace.

Approach:
A clean and simply sculpted product with a proper finish gives a product glitter.  Simple graphic design leads the user to foolproof operation, while the proper use of physical and visual controls prevents misuse. In order to match the essence of what is described in the Generations Study, we need to develop a generic shape that is still unique.  The solution might be to experiment with various graphic patterns.
